Ford Dominates Best Plumber 604 Racing Series Event!
(September
26, 2026) Jensen Ford dominated the Best Plumber 604
Series race on Saturday. Ford set fast time, won his heat race,
and led all 30 laps in taking the win. Ford finished with a huge
lead over second place Greg Martin. Adam Ahl, Skylar Marlar, and
Hayden Cardwell rounded out the top 5. (Brooke

Chandler Hickman made it back-to-back win in the sportsman late
model feature. Chandler was followed by Terry Poore, Shaun Sise,
Adam Mitchell, and Jed Emert who came from 14th to finish fifth.
Eric Hughes outgunned Austin Byrd at the start and went on to
win the street stock feature. Byrd was second followed by Greg
Huskey, Bobbie Petty, and Johnny Hughes to round out the top 5.
Dustin Duncan turned in another dominant performance in winning
the front wheel drive feature. James Burnette, Ethan Johnson,
Tristan Stepp, and Michael Lambert finished inside the top five.
Raymond Nelson took his first Crown Vic feature win of the season
at Smoky Mountain Speedway. Nelson finished ahead of Brandon McKamey,
Chase Berg, Timmy Cummings, and Steve Owens.
The next race at Smoky Mountain Speedway will be on Saturday,
October 10 when the Topless Outlaws Late Model Series returns
for the Lester Weeks Memorial.
