2020 Plans for Support Classes!
(February
18, 2020) The support class program at Smoky Mountain
in 2019 was well received by drivers and owners alike so we have
made a few minor adjustments and plan on duplicating that in 2020.
Drivers were very appreciative of our investment in the local
racing scene. We were able to offer a points championship for
running a limited amount of races instead of investing an entire
season. Thanks to our great partners, we awarded perfect attendance
drivers with not only cash, but great contingency awards. Our
champions (Chase King - LLM and Jed Emert - Sportsman) also received
trophies, big checks, custom designed championship t-shirts, and
Hoosier Racing embroidered jackets. (Heath

Limited Late Models and Sportsman Late Models will compete at
all SMS events in 2020. A total of 8 races, however one change
from 2019, Each driver will be able to drop one race at the end
of the season. The best 7 finishes will determine the champions
in 2020. The race dates and purse structures are posted at the
end of this press release.
