2025 Schedule
Released with Additional Races!
(January
15, 2025) Smoky Mountain Speedway has released the 2025
schedule with more racing on tap this season. The World of Outlaws
Late Model Series returns to sanction the Tennessee Tip-Off on
March 14-15. A $12,000 to win race is slated for Friday, March
14 followed by a $15,000 to win race on Saturday, March 15.
The Allstar Monster Trucks will be back on March 29-30 for two
days of fun and car smashing action. The Best Plumber 604 Series
will make its debut on Saturday, April 5. A Saturday Night Shootout
program will round out racing in April on Saturday, April 26.
The Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series returns on Saturday, May
17 for a $15,000 to win race. One week later, on Saturday, May
24, the Topless Outlaws Late Model Series visits for the $4,000
to win Lester Weeks Memorial.
June will see the Mountain Moonshine Classis taking place on
June 13-14 as the Lucas Oil Late Model Series returns for their
only visit to the region. Friday’s race is a $10,000 program
followed by a $30,000 to win affair on Saturday. Another Saturday
Night Shootout is set for Saturday, June 28.
Saturday, July 19 sees the return of the Cumberland Plateau Open
Wheels for a $2,000 to win race.
The Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series will make its debut on
Saturday, August 16 for a $5,000 to win race. The Best Plumber
604 Series returns on Saturday, August 30.
The annual Hall of Fame race and ceremony is scheduled for Saturday,
September 20 as the Topless Outlaws Late Model Series visits for
that event. For motorcycle fans, the Harley Celebration of Speed
takes place on Saturday, September 27.
The 2025 season will conclude on Saturday, November 22 for the
2nd annual Thanksgiving Thunder race.
The schedule is subject to change. Additional events and promotions
will be added to the schedule in the coming weeks. Support divisions
for the special events along with divisions for the Saturday Night
Shootout races will be announced soon. Businesses interested in
becoming a marketing partner for the upcoming season may contact
someone with the speedway staff for information.
