Week Night Practice Tuesday, April 3rd

The votes are in, and the decision has been made. Smoky Mountain Speedway will host a week night Practice, Tuesday April 3rd. Gates will open at 3 and practice will go until around 8-9ish. The cost will be $20 a car and $10 per person.

Between MRM and Facebook Tuesday is in the lead now. If you still wish for Thursday you have some catching up to do. At this point if we go for a Tuesday when can we make this work.. This Tuesday or next? What time is everyone thinking?

Please give your opinion on Facebook or MRM.. It’s important we know where everyone stands, we want to try and do what works best for everyone!

SMS Practice “A New Approach”

With persistant rain adding to the already saturated SMS racing surface and pit area we have been forced to postpone the possibility of a Sunday practice. With the weather being a little challenging and our window of opportunity slipping away as several local tracks are starting their weekly program, the management at SMS would like to ask our loyal racers and fans the following question. As a racer, what are your thoughts of a week night practice? Which of the following two nights would work best for you, Tuesday or Thursday? Your response is very important to us as we are equally ready to get on with a great racing season. Thank you for your input!
