Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt
Series Visits on June 13-14

28, 2025) The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series makes
its annual visit to Smoky Mountain Speedway on June 13-14 for
the Mountain Moonshine Classic for two nights of racing action.
Defending series champion Ricky Thornton Jr. holds a narrow lead
in the point standings over Jonathan Davenport. Devin Moran sits
in third followed by Hudson O’Neal and Garrett Albertson.
Brandon Overton, Brandon Sheppard, Daulton Wilson, Carson Ferguson,
Donald McIntosh, Daniel Hilsabeck, and Spencer Hughes round out
the field of series regulars. Other possible entrants include
Jimmy Owens, Dale McDowell, Ricky Weiss, Cory Hedgecock, Mike
Marlar, and more.
The festivities get underway on Friday, June13 for a $10,000
to win complete show for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
Sportsman late models will also be racing for $800 to win and
front wheel drive for $500 to win.
Racing resumes on Saturday, June 14 for a $30,000 to win complete
program. Sportsman late models return for another $800 to win
race and street stocks join for a $700 to win race.
All gates will open at noon. The driver’s meeting will
take place at 6:00 followed by hot laps at 7:00.

The deadline for media credentials is Wednesday, June 11. Anyone
seeking a media credential must print, fill out, and submit the
request form on the track’s web site, including those that
have attended previous races this season.
Smoky Mountain Speedway is located 12 miles south of Maryville,
Tennessee. From Maryville, take Highway 411 south for 10 miles
and turn left onto Brick Mill Road. Follow Brick Mill Road for
approximately 2 miles, the racetrack is on the right. The first
entrance is for grandstand parking. The second entrance is tier
parking and campground access. The pit entrance is the third right
on Crye Road.
