World of Outlaws Invade
Smoky Mountain Speedway on March 6th
(February
18, 2021) Smoky Mountain Speedway opens the 2021 season
on Saturday, March 6 when the World of Outlaws Morton Building
Late Model Series returns for the 8th annual Tennessee Tip-Off.
The $12,000 to win race is expected to draw many of the biggest
names in the sport. Defending series champion Brandon Sheppard
leads the invasion of Outlaw drivers to the 4/10-mile track located
at the base of the Smoky Mountains. Kyle Strickler, Ricky Weiss,
Darrell Lanigan, Scott Bloomquist, Chase Junghans, Dennis Erb
Jr., Cade Dillard, Boom Briggs, Brent Larson, and Ross Bailes
are other series regulars expected for the Tennessee Tip-Off.

Other drivers expected are defending race winner Mike Marlar,
Jimmy Owens, Jonathan Davenport, Brandon Overton, Dale McDowell,
Josh Richards, Hudson O’Neal, Vic Hill, Donald McIntosh,
Robby Moses, Dakotah Knuckles, Tommy Kerr, Ryan King, Cory Hedgecock,
and more. Also racing on March 6 will be the Kajun Mini Stocks
for $1,500 to win and 604 late models for $1,500 to win.
All gates will open at noon. The drivers meeting is set for 6:00.
Hot laps, time trials, and racing action will begin at 6:30. Times
may be adjusted pending the weather. Grandstand ticket prices
are $30 for adults, kids 11 and under are free. Tier parking tickets
are $40 for adults, kids 11 and under are free. Pit passes are
$40 for adults, kids 11 and under are $20. Pre-race tickets are
available at MyRacePass.com.
Chairs will only be allowed on the concrete areas of the grandstands.
Small seatbacks and cushions are permitted elsewhere. We ask that
fans that are using large chairs use the top rows to prevent blocking
others view. Anyone wanting a seat on the concrete bleachers are
asked to get to the track early.
Smoky Mountain Speedway is located 12 miles south of Maryville,
Tennessee. From Maryville, take Highway 411 south for 10 miles
and turn left onto Brick Mill Road. Follow Brick Mill Road for
approximately 2 miles, the racetrack is on the right. The first
entrance is for grandstand parking. The second entrance is for
tier parking and campground access. The pit entrance is the next
right on Crye Road.
